Welcome to Music Matrix, a daily music puzzle game available at musicmatrixgame.com ("Music Matrix", "we", "us"). By playing or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

The game

Music Matrix is currently free to play. A new puzzle is released each day, and past puzzles are available to players with a free account. We may change, add or remove features, puzzles or editions at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the game.

We may offer paid features in the future. If we do, the price and any additional terms will be shown before you buy, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account.
• You can stop playing at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy.

Fair play

Please play fairly and don't:

• use bots, scripts or other automated means to play, collect puzzles or answers, or access the service;
• copy, scrape or republish puzzles or answers in bulk, or try to access puzzles before their release date;
• interfere with the game's servers or security, or try to alter scores, results or statistics;
• use the game for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, and we may remove results that were not earned fairly. Sharing your own results, such as the emoji score grid, is always welcome.

Content and ownership

The Music Matrix name, logo, design and software, and the selection, arrangement and themes of the puzzles, belong to us. You may play and share your results for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy or reuse the game or its puzzles without our permission.

Puzzles refer to real songs, albums, artists and chart history as factual information. Song titles, album titles, artist names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Music Matrix is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any artist, record label, chart publisher or streaming service.

We work to keep puzzle facts accurate, but music history is full of alternate versions, regional releases and conflicting sources. Puzzle answers reflect the sources we use (generally original U.S. releases and U.S. chart data). If you spot an error, we'd love to hear about it.

Disclaimers

Music Matrix is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the game will always be available, error-free or that your results and stats will never be lost.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Music Matrix and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $10. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game changes. If we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
